PRIVATE DINOTRACKS TOURS

Private DinoTrack tours are an excellent educational activity for your scout troop, visiting family, or club.  For groups of eight or more people, we are happy to book a tour at the time and date of your choosing.

Insights’ tour guides will take you on a 2-mile hike through our 211 acres of fossilized dinosaur tracks and giant fossil beds from the Cretaceous Period.  An ancient treasure is hidden in our corner of the vast Chihuahuan Desert. Millennia of geological activity has changed the wet environment to an extreme and arid desert, but we can still see the evidence of ancient dinosaur beach here today.  Insights’ knowledgeable tour guides cover a variety of topics associated with our DinoTracks.  Please let us know if you would specifically like to learn more about animal tracking, dinosaurs, geology, paleontology, and much more.

Tours usually last about 2.5 hours, so be sure to bring plenty of water, a snack, and sunscreen.  As you will be hiking over moderate terrain for about 2-miles, you will need to wear comfortable (tough) closed-toed shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Tour guests must bring their own water. Pack in-Pack out if you plan to bring your own lunch/snacks!

$15 per person for all other private tour groups

*Children age 5 years and under gain free admission.*

After payment, you will receive an email within 2-3 business days containing more details about the tour and meeting location.

Minimum number of Attendees?

  • If you wish to schedule a private tour, Insights is more than happy to accommodate you in customizing your tour experience. However, we kindly request a minimum of (8) attendees within your Tour Group to book a private tour.  Tours groups smaller than 8 guests can be arranged for a higher price per person

Non-Profit Organizations

  • Insights is happy to offer a discounted tour rate of $12 per person to qualifying groups! Upon reserving a spot via our Online Registration form, please indicate if you’re requesting a tour date on behalf of a non-profit organization.

Payment Methods

  • Please note: All Private tours (including for Non-Profit Organizations) must be pre-paid TWO weeks in advance in order for our staff members to proceed in scheduling your Tour Guides upon payment.  Insights currently accepts: Cash, Check, or PayPal.

  • Payment Method: Please inform our staff, via our Online Registration form, which payment method you prefer to process payment. Insights encourages the method in which is most convenient for you! Thus, if you wish to pay via: Cash, Check, or Paypal – once indicated on the registration form, a member of our staff will contact you to accommodate you.

Do Kids get in for free?

  • Children (under the ages of 5 years old) will gain Free Admission! If you are bringing children under 5 years of age, please indicate on the Online Registration form, the number of children that are 5 years of age and under.

  • The admission price for everyone over the age of 5 years is the same.
